On-site Music Therapy services for people with learning disabilities in Surrey and surrounding areas.

Who for? 

Sounds that Grow supports children, adolescents and adults with learning disabilities, including:​

Approach

 

Music Therapy is a flexible, and creative

process that meets each person exactly

where they are. Sounds that Grow

sessions may include:

​

  • Singing familiar or favourite songs

  • Improvising and composing new music together 

  • Listening to music

  • Musical games and interactive exercises

  • Movement and rhythm-based activities

  • Use of pictures, visual supports and other creative approaches 

​

Each session is individually tailored to support therapeutic goals such as self-expression, communication, emotional regulation, confidence, and social connection — fostering growth and wellbeing through meaningful musical engagement.
